We all know that safeguarding against the hazards of wall outlets is very important. Electrical outlets are generally installed at a height near a child's eye level and the curiosity of a tot makes those outlets a source of worry for parents. Thankfully outlet plugs are readily available and inexpensive; I would venture there is nary a child's home without them. My problem has always been removing them when I plug in the vacuum to clean. My nails take a beating and those pesky little plugs that cannot be removed by a child are equally hard to be removed by me!
Imagine my delight when we met Karen Milgin at the 2007 International JPMA Convention in Orlando. She and her husband, Dave Milgin, owners of For Our Future LLC invented the WedgEZ™ - The Outlet Plug Remover. Karen demonstrated how effortlessly and efficiently their product removes a protective cap from an electrical outlet. This sleek looking orange plastic device is an outlet plug remover extraordinaire!
She enthusiastically showed us "when used as instructed this tool will effortlessly remove outlet plugs without damage to walls or the plugs themselves". I am enchanted with this tool which fits easily in my hand and works like a charm. In addition, I am so impressed because it is designed to clip right to a vacuum cleaner cord so it is always where you want and need it! If your new "lifesaver" tool is damaged, broken or fails to perform as specifically indicated you may request a replacement.
The price of a single WedgEZ is $3.99; why not buy a multi pack of three for $9.99? It is a well deserved gift for yourself, the thoughtful gift for your best friend and I can think of no better gift for Grandma!
