Once upon a time a couple of parents-to-be were so excited to become…parents-to-be that, on a very cold but very sunny Sunday, they decided to go out looking for the perfect first baby item that would enter their home. As they were antiquing, they thought they found it…the perfect hundred-year old high chair.

Some forty weeks later, their very own perfect baby entered their lives and their home. Everything was just perfect. Unfortunately, some six months later, the new parents discovered that their perfect baby and the perfect high chair weren't exactly a perfect match: the baby was indeed seriously challenging the safety and practicality of the previously-thought-perfect high chair…

Twice upon a time, some ten years earlier, in the little town of Halmstad, Sweden, another birth was celebrated. The happy birth of Svan of Sweden AB (no fairy tale is complete without swans!). From the first moment Svan was born, it was "dedicated to provide families all over the world with children's products which have attitude, style, function and safety." With that in mind, Svan, in its grand savoir-faire, started to work on creating THE perfect high chair.

Some ten years later, on a warm and very sunny day, a messenger delivered a package to those new parents that would change their destiny. After opening the precious parcel, the mama cried out: "Magnifique! Merveilleux! Superbe! Merci! Thank you Svan!". Svan had thought of them and was now handing them over one of their fabulous high chairs…

Both parents were charmed by the stylish look of the chair, combining modern design and richness of natural wood. They were stunned by its practicality. The removable tray of the chair (complete with a plastic cover protecting the wood) was making it very easy to just wipe it off over the sink. That innovation was also allowing baby to sit in her chair while enjoying her meal with her parents at the same table. Moreover, the chair was lightweight and easy to carry thanks to the handle on the seat back rest. They were thankful for all the rigorous safety features of the chair like the three-point harness, the adjustable guard or its firm stability, making it a JPMA certified product. They were impressed by the ingenuity of the chair as well. Because the seat, foot rest and safety guard were all completely adjustable, the chair would "grow" with their child, from childhood to adulthood! But most importantly they were delighted to see their baby so happy while comfortably sitting and eating in it…Life was perfect again.

Once upon a time, there was a happy family who loved, loved, LOVED their Svan chair so much that their daily life became…a fairy tale.
