Say goodbye to dry skin on your little ones as I have discovered the most wonderful creams and lotions which contain "Nothing gross, Nothing weird, Just good stuff for dry skin". They are the skin care products at Stuff for Sprouts which contain natural oils and butters, purified water and have fantastic kid friendly fragrances. There are neither nut butters nor nut oils; they are paraben free and devoid of chemical fillers, artificial colors and sparkles.
The ingredients are pretty much my favorite foods! A combination of oils from apricot kernels, avocados, rice bran, oats, cranberry, sesame and pumpkin seeds constitute a feast in the form of a cream for chapped and flaking skin on hands, legs and rough little elbows. There is also a wonderful lip balm in a nicely shaped container.
Now I have to tell you about the fragrances; these are so cool for kids! The sweet-fresh scent of Lemon lotion is so refreshing and the nostalgic Beach lotion is pure fun! Try the healing and soothing cream with Blueberry Muffin or Front Lawn aroma. If you cannot decide which lip balm to use, buy a cute set of three and you tell me if you prefer Chocolate, Frosting or PB&J!
Owner Kristen Bassick has partnered with a non-profit organization which supports literacy for children. She donates 2% of internet sales at Stuff for Sprouts to First Book whose mission is to give children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first books. If you include one extra dollar with your order Kristen sends it directly to this great organization. Since 1992 First Book has provided 50 million new books to programs serving children in need.
Stuff for Sprouts features the adorable Sprouticus plush toy which makes a perfect friend. I know a little boy with the softest skin who fondly carries his "Seed" on his special adventures.
