Why was I interested in giving such a dress to my six year old niece?  Yes, because I am an auntie and I get to spoil my favorite brother's little sweethearts all I want! Also, because I wanted her to feel especially exceptional after her first… Tae Kwon Do competition!  (She moved up four belts!)

I know it sounds silly, but there are so many "firsts" in a little girl's life- first birthdays, first birthday parties they will actually remember attending, first Christmas, first flower girl dress…why not give a dress for her to wear after her first Tae Kwon Do event?! I am so proud of my niece, Emily, for branching out beyond the world of dance, but deep down, she is really the most entertaining drama queen, and I plan to play right into it as she parades around in her new party dress!

Although it was a difficult decision to make with over ten styles to choose from, I chose the 'Christina' dress. The mint green dress with pink flowered trim was just exquisite. Each uniquely designed dress comes in a variety of colors to choose from. However, if you have a specific color in mind, you can send a swatch of fabric, and Mary Pat will match a color!  Complete with accessories, from stoles and headpieces to purses and wreaths, I found it difficult to resist the matching pink flowered headband!
