They are made of leather with a skid resistant soft leather sole. Everything about these shoes is soft, from the leather, to the tongue, to the Velcro straps. And the best part, for my wide-footed son, is the nice rounded top, so his little toes don't get squashed together. These shoes are impeccably constructed and look fabulous, too.
