If you are a fan of original music you will join me in celebrating a great new CD from Roger Day. Roger brings the latest collection of his songs straight from Nashville, TN to us. It is certainly music to sing along with; it is fun to shake a leg with and definitely makes you feel better about yourself.

The lyrics are full of fantasy peppered with dashes of reality. That is what makes it so much fun. Possibilities of life are explored and celebrated; everyday problems take on a new twist with Day's fanciful interpretations and solutions. There are practical ideas for turning off the television and having fun outdoors, songs that inspire imagination, songs that encourage thinking, dreaming, stretching and loving. There are songs about elephants, bumblebees, hippos, yaks and even doodle bugs!

Roly Poly celebrates the fun of finding doodlebugs under rocks and the wonder of simply enjoying nature. You will grab your maracas as you sing along with his clever counting song Uno, Dos, Tres. The New World Miracles Chorus is incredibly beautiful in the inspirational song Life is a Miracle. The Greatest Day on Earth Day is a wonderful song celebrating you know what...your birthday! 

The title song, Dream Big, brings out the finest aspirations in each of us. As I listen to it over and over again I cherish the positive reinforcement it presents. It is the premiere song about self assurance, hope and possibilities.

Every song has fabulous instrumental accompaniment, the sound is simply wonderful.
