I am married with two girls, two dogs and two in-laws :) my mother-in-law
and Aunt live with us. 

What does Nature's Baby Organics provide for Moms, Dads
and Kids?
Nature's Baby Organics is a family owned and operated business.
I run the business with my father and step mother. We manufacturer
a line of Organic Hair and Skin care products designed for entire family use.
Parents can expect high end salon like perform from our products with
super clean ingredients.

Nature's Baby Organics offers so many amazing products. Where do you get all your ideas? 
I got a lot of my ideas from  just being a mother  and also dealing with two children that have  severely sensitive skin. My oldest daughter is sensitive to perfumes & dyes and my youngest daughter suffers from eczema. We also have a group of about 30 families that have been testing our products since our inception, they have always been instrumental in helping us to create new and exciting products as well as provide us with  candid feed back so we can perfect our products. Moms love to give advice and we love to hear it.

What challenges have you faced as a parent in business?
Cooking Dinner! I actually did have some difficult times with dealing with men in the beginning, can you believe their are still men out there that do not like to do business with women, now I just toss them to my father.

How long has Nature's Baby Organics been in business?
We were established in 2002, but it took 2 years to develop our first products.

Running a business and being a full-time parent certainly has its challenges. Is there any advice you can give to busy Moms and Dads on balancing it all?
Be creative so you can include your children in your daily activities, this accomplishes two things, spending time with your kids and  helping them to build self worth. I find that my children  and I are just; happy as long as  we can be with each other so I give them little task, like sorting or I will set up a huge bucket of water give them empty bottles and let them pretend to create their own products. My youngest daughter like to walk around the house with my cell phone and pretend to be me.  

Being an Entrepreneur is a 24/7 job and I think a lot of people have misconceptions about the ease of owning your own business and being your own boss. In the beginning, you are every job until you are in a strong financial position to hire staff. Be prepared to work and to work hard. Also, establish a network of other mompreneurs and support each other, share your success stories.

What is your ideal workday like?
Working on the beaches of Maui!

If there is one think you could pass on to your children about being a parentpreneur, what would it be?
Be passionate about what you do and if your heart is in your business that will be reflective in your products  and the work you do.
