What could possibly be scarier than having a baby? Having your second baby! Sure you're an expert now on pregnancy and childbirth but your second child brings about a whole new string of worries! How can I take care of two kids? How can I possibly love another child as much as my first? And my biggest fear, how will my first child adjust to the new baby?

Creator of the Motherly Way Enterprises, Julie Carr knew exactly what it was like to feel this way and created a wonderful activity book called: Making Me: The Pregnancy Activity Book for My Big Brother or Sister. This is a book specifically designed for the older sibling to help promote understanding, involvement, and bonding with their new sibling. This activity book is filled with daily activities for the big brother or sister to complete. Each day my daughter and I can check in on the baby's development (I thought I was an expert but it is amazing how quickly I forgot what is happening in there!) and together we complete an activity that involves my daughter in the development of her new sibling. Sometimes we color, sometimes we measure each other and sometimes we jump! We look forward to learning more about our growing baby every day.

This book has been an enormous help for me when it came to preparing my daughter for the fact that we are having another baby. Instead of just telling her about "the baby" she has been able to actually participate in this process with me. And she is learning so much about the baby and herself!

In addition to Making Me, Julie Carr realized during her first pregnancy that lots of books described in detail the changes in a woman's body during pregnancy, but did not focus on the development of her unborn child. Julie wanted to know more about her growing baby so she developed this daily flipbook "Countdown to a Miracle: The Making of Me" and focused solely on the new life within - written uniquely from the baby's point of view. I am amazed each time I read it!

I truly treasure the activity book we have completed. Together, my husband, daughter, and I have created a wonderful keepsake for our family!
