Funky Mama : Moo Juice

Independent children's recording artist Krista "Funky Mama" Eyler celebrates the release of her highly anticipated third studio CD, 'Moo Juice'. The disc features 17 dynamic Funky Mama originals and arrangements showcasing a voice that kids' music authority Bill Childs calls "rich, soulful, and bluesy."

As an on-air reporter for Kansas City ABC affiliate KMBC-TV Channel 9 News, Krista Tatschl Eyler earned an Emmy nomination, covering everything from fires to homicides to tornados. After five years of this intense, on-the-edge life, she became the ultimate crossover artist - "Funky Mama" - singing for kids in a bold, straightforward, funk/soul style that's imbued a strong sense of narrative phrasing and dynamite energy!

On 'Moo Juice,' Eyler's powerful blues drenched voice sounds like she would be right at home anywhere: singing with any of the great soul singers of the '60s, creating stunning dialogue with a flute in a stylish calypso, taking the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, singing folksy jug band standards, belting one out with the best of Louisiana's Zydeco bands, or soaring over the top of a mesmerizing up-tempo gospel group. Mostly though, Funky Mama's music is just plain fun.

Danielle Sansone : Two Flowers

Family music with a little bluegrass, symphonic swirls and intimate indie charm! Two Flowers started out as a simple recording of a few songs Danielle Sansone had written for her two children, and turned into what producer Will Robertson calls a "14-track ode to childhood wonder."

Two Flowers, produced by Will Robertson, was recorded at Gallop Studios in Tucker, Georgia. This is Danielle's first project with brother Patrick Sansone of Wilco and The Autumn Defense.
