Le soleil, picking berries, gazing at my roses, meditating in front of a gorgeous sunset…and most importantly wearing my favorite skirts with sandals…this is why I love summertime.
Another very special summer pleasure for me and my daughter is to walk to a nearby pond and watch enormous multicolored and iridescent dragonflies, or "libellules" for my petite mademoiselle, fly around our heads…

Waiting for the sun to rise on the 21st of June to savor our sweet tradition seems so long…Fortunately she and I don't have to cross off the days on our calendar to enjoy the first dragonflies: Lil' Sugarplum took care of that and sent us our first dragonfly of the year…
