In my search for new baby gifts that would be practical, pretty, and fun I discovered a terrific source for mix and match blankets, diaper bag caddies and burp cloths. I just love the concept at this great website.
I chose the product then I picked the fabric and Kate did all the work! 

I am so happy to have found Kate, who is a stay at home mom with an eleven month old little boy. She started making burp cloths and blankets as shower gifts for her friends and a few months later Kate's Baby Basics materialized.

I chose a burp cloth and for that gift I could not resist the bright Camille's print, which is a darling gingham looking plaid and polka dotted pique. I chose the product style, and then I selected the fabric and placed my order. How simple is that for a wonderful custom made, and yes, practical, pretty and fun gift?

I also wanted to purchase a nice little stroller blanket. I was thrilled to discover  Jocelyn's dots, a slightly textured fabric with a waffle weave, a vibrant red background with white polka dots. The backing is a soft white chenille with a stunning  wavy pattern. How cute and practical, pretty and fun! It came tied with a royal blue grosgrain ribbon which made a lovely presentation.

This website made it so easy to make great choices; I was on a roll!
I also wanted a simple wipes and diaper bag; this time I chose the Cooper's bats material. The lining is soft denim which coordinates nicely with the baseball theme. I selected this combination with baby's Daddy in mind; it definitely met my criteria of practical, handsome and fun!
