"Music Makes Me Happy"… I think we can all say that, especially kids. How fitting a title for the latest collection of children's songs from Robbi K & Friends.

Robbi K is a Parents' Choice Award winning artist who has delivered a delightful compilation of easy-to-relate-to kid's music with a modern flair… just in time for summer! This CD makes a fabulous addition to your child's pool party this season, with upbeat and silly melodies about the beach, ice cream, playing outside with friends… all things summer!

After listening to this entire CD, I am amazed and impressed by how Robbi K is able to connect with young children by singing about the things they experience in their everyday lives. One track is called "Eating Some Pizza" and then there's "I Love My Teacher" which features an unmistakable vocal contribution from the legendary Jon "Bowser" Bauman of Sha Na Na.

My favorite song on this album is "Happy! Happy! Happy! Happy! Happy!" It's a hilarious tune about how "sometimes my brother (or any other family member or friend) makes me mad"… I actually put it on in the car for my young son the other day in an effort to diffuse a little temper tantrum. He stopped and listened for a moment, and was smiling again before he knew it! Thanks Robbi!
