In Kashmir it is called a paunchu, in Chilie a chamanto, in Mexico a sarape, in Columbia a ruana, in ancient Rome a paenula, but to most of the world this darling cover is fondly known as a poncho.
We have discovered the poncho extraordinaire! It is the e2 Solarveil Poncho, a wonderful little cover-up made from a miracle fabric from Milliken. Solarveil blocks 75% to 80% of the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun while keeping your little one protected. It has a cute airy look, lots of fun texture and comes in trendy colors. Because it is designed as a poncho and is loosely draped the fabric tends to reflect the UV rays even more. Amazingly, the level of protection maintains whether the fabric is wet or dry and even more amazingly it will maintain its effectiveness for the life of the garment.
Our fabulous designer, Lauren Drury is a stay at home mom of two young children. She named her store, e2designs after her daughter, Ella Elizabeth. Little Miss e2 had a "passionate hatred of her infant carrier which created a need for a jacket that didn't take 20 minutes to get on and off". We all know how trendy ponchos are. There are no bothersome arm holes and slip over the infant or toddler's head so easily. I love the fact that they don't fall off nor do they interfere with a stroller or car seat harness. PLUS they are cute and comfortable! A poncho also doubles as a blanket, shopping cart cover or nursing cover.
E2designs these adorable Solarveil Ponchos in sizes 0-6 months, 6-12 months or 12-24 months. How wonderful is this to have a darling cover for the infant who cannot wear sunscreen or an adorable little beach cover for the toddler who loves to splash in the water! Remember solarveil material is equally effective wet or dry.
