Confession #1: I am the Queen of Doggie Bags!
Excuse: I will eat it tomorrow for lunch!
Confession #2: I always buy too much at the grocery store.
Excuse: I just want to have good food for my family!
Confession #3: I hate to throw anything away!
Excuse: I have no excuse - it is my personality.
Now that you have heard my confession and my feeble excuses you will be pleased to know there is safe solution for my refrigerator. It is the daysago™ digital day counter, a wonderful invention which attaches to a variety of surfaces with a magnetic or suction backing and counts up to 99 days. In addition to being trendy and attractive it is the salvation to my old habit of retaining food long after it is safe to consume. I use it on any container that is "reserved for storage" and it quietly and firmly lets me know how many days ago it was opened or set aside. Now there is no doubt when it is time to eat it or toss it away.
Developed by two friends, Debbie Stephens Stauffer and Kathleen Whitehurst in the summer of 2005, Debbie asked Kathleen to feed her infant son with baby food from a jar in the refrigerator. Together they examined the plethora of partially used jars on the shelves and brainstormed on how one could keep track rather than throwing the jars away. "Both instantly knew that if they could solve this problem, they'd have a product that would be valuable to people all over the world."
One would think they invented just for me! Now I have a simple and seamless way of managing such an important health issue and I am so glad I can share this wonderful product with you. Buy a set or two for yourself and one for your best friend, and if you see a member of my family you'll know that special smile is because of the daysago™ digital day counter keeping track in AJ's refrigerator!
