Last year I became a fan of Ira Marlowe and nearly wore out his Brainy Tunes CD, The Teasing Bird. Now I have just received his new set of 11 wonderful original songs in Dream Time. Everything I loved in his first CD takes me to even greater heights in this latest release. Ira is a singer/songwriter whose goal is to "create children's music that feeds your child's imagination, builds knowledge and vocabulary and never condescends". He provides entertainment in grand style with his original, witty and thought provoking music.

Molly the Moose on Mars relates Molly's latest adventure traveling into outer space "as she sampled the dust and the light from the sun"; this moose really knows how to make her dreams come true! While playing in a tidal pool with a dear little three year old I marveled how quickly he mastered the art of catching hermit crabs. Wasn't I proud to sing Crabwalk….as I had just learned the greatest song about Buster Crab "walking forward and backward, sideways and the other way sideways too"! Leave it to Ira Marlowe to come up with a most clever rendition with his adorable tune, Peanut Butter Pirates "who sail the mighty seas lookin' for that sticky stuff that never fails to please".

You'll gain a new appreciation of our wonderful world with Continents, an instructive and catchy melody which showcases Ira's talent for making learning extra special. The kids' vocals on this wonderful song and on Soap Opera are just great! 37 Kids in a Great Big Shoe, is a charming and fun tale about family life with 18 girls and 19 boys who "try to get along and used to have a nanny but she didn't stay long"! Don't Let the Dog Dig contains a wonderful lesson about life with puppy Potus, a special birthday present who teaches the five year old recipient, "No, you don't let a good dog dig"!

Visit Brainy Tunes where you'll find "Smarter songs for smarter kids", learn a lot more about Ira Marlowe, play educational games, sing along and purchase Dream Time. We'll listen together!
