Someone has stolen my heart! Even though I spend lots of time with him in my car you need not worry as it is a platonic relationship; we are connected by my listening to his CDs. In the spirit of the holidays, I am sharing this knowledge with you and inviting you to become one of Ira Marlowe's fans.

Ira is a singer/songwriter whose goal is to challenge kids ages 3-103 while respecting the tastes of their parents. He not only respects my tastes, he thrills my very being! Brainy Tunes provides entertainment in grand style. The musical arrangements are wonderful; the narratives are witty, original and thought provoking. Each time I listen I not only learn a little more, I think a little more and all the time I am smiling and of course, singing along.

A dear friend of mine listened with me the other day and was captivated with the gentle lesson in "Molly the Moose …who got loose in New York City"! I was sorry we did not have time to listen to Moose in Hollywood, you see, Molly gets around, but Molly knows the "way to be a star is just be who you are".

Each CD comes with an illustrated booklet containing wonderful facts, terrific illustrations and lyrics. Ira Marlowe really stretches the brain, 93 Million Miles is a mystical tune filled with wonder and facts about the sun. Lazy Dog is a charming philosophical tune both reassuring and fun. Bubble Time tickles your fancy with "Dirty Boy Dean" and "Pigsty Pearl". Your astrological genes soar with The Planets' Song and All About the Moon and your crystal ball will never be the same after his wonderful, Joanie and the Genie. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Teasing Bird, who walked sixteen blocks to a playground to apologize after he lost his ability to fly and realized being mean was what made him unhappy.
