When I was a little girl, I used to love taking baths. I would stay in the tub so long, my fingers and toes would prune. I remember creating "potions" with various soaps, shampoos, and plastic containers. Now as a mom, I love bath time even more with my boys. This "fairly" quiet and relaxing time is our chance to talk, sing, play, and get nice and clean. Though my boys are not interested in compounding perfumes and mystical concoctions like their mom, they love anything that squirts, spouts, or splashes water! In my endless hunt to find fun and safe toys for their tubby time, I recently discovered the fantastic line of water toys by Boogaloo.

The Boogaloo Bath line of toys is awesome! I don't know what I am more excited about…that my boys have colorful, safe, and fun toys for the tub OR that I will finally get my measuring cups and spoons back. Our favorite Boogaloo toy is the Swirly Seahorse. Available in three different colors, this seahorse scoops water and lets it flow with its googly eyes blinking and adorable tail spinning. The material is soft and durable with a perfectly-sized handle on the back for little fingers to grasp and maneuver.  Some of the other great Boogaloo bath toys are Octobuddy (my next purchase!), Jungle Scene, and Appliques, which are 12 soft "flashcards" of jungle animals that will stick to the side of the bathtub, whether wet or dry. 

In addition to bath toys, Boogaloo also has regular toys, stuffed animals, a Munch line of mealtime accessories, and diaper bags. What impresses me most about all of the Boogaloo products is their originality and high quality. It is obvious the creative geniuses at Boogaloo (Gil, Joshua and Michael) really know what pleases kids AND their parents!

In my house, some of our greatest "talks" and photo ops have come from tubby time. Starting out in the infant basin, then to the kitchen sink, and now to the "big tub", I look back on the past few years and am amazed how much they have grown and how much fun we have had. And thanks to Boogaloo the fun CONTINUES!  Enjoy!
