There are many people who inspire me in life, but recently, no one more than my best friend. Ever since she was a little girl, she was always deeply connected to nature…a lover of all animals and profoundly respectful of the environment. It is no wonder now, as an adult and professional, she has committed her life and career to understanding wildlife and protecting the earth's beauty. Taking a page from her book, I am implementing changes in my family's life to live "greener" and strive to support companies that share this commitment. Hence, my discovery of B Nature.

B Nature, founded by Anita Halpert, is an amazing company specializing in organic children's clothing.  All of their products are made from organic cotton, which is free of harsh pesticides and chemicals. Anita, along with her family and co-workers, envisions dressing children in lovely, comfortable and stylish clothes. By producing B Nature clothing with organic cotton, it eliminates any potential harm to your child, as well as supports the healthy living of the farmers, textile workers, and communities associated with their company.

When I first received the B Nature long sleeve, footed romper, I wasn't sure what to expect, since I had never owned an organic cotton garment.  What struck me immediately was the softness of the fabric. It is without a doubt the softest cotton I have ever felt. The lightweight fabric was made of a beautiful cream-like hue, and all the stitching was impeccable. I also loved (as you all know!) the tagless washing instructions, and sweet contrast-hue on the elbows.  In addition, I received the most adorable snap-up, hooded sweatshirt with stylish contrast piping and lining. Made of a subtle, sea-grass color, the sweatshirt was adorned with the cutest "bee" on the back, embroidered with, "My first bee".  I realized looking at these fabulous clothes; they would look equally adorable on a baby girl or boy, since the colors are so gentle and natural. It also occurred to me that B Nature clothing is the perfect selection for "baby's coming home outfit", since it is super-soft and pure for your newborn.
