While at the JPMA Convention in Orlando Meg and I visited the Baby Planet booth to see the 2007 JPMA Innovation award winning Unity Sport Double Stroller and had the privilege of meeting the founder of Baby Planet, Pete Myers and his partner, Eric Wang. I was so impressed with the mission of this terrific company who "believe that there are no limits to improving your child's environment. From the care you provide, to the products you use, to the planet we share, every aspect can play a key role in the upbringing of your baby. Our mission is to help you in this journey by providing products that improve the quality time you spend with your child. In addition we are working hard to protect and restore our planet, so all our children have a fresh clean environment to flourish in."

Eric personally demonstrated the unique features of this slick looking stroller. Now that I have used one myself I am so impressed with the lightweight aluminum frame, which provides a secure, and sturdy base yet allows for an "Ultra Compact" fold. I love the peek-a-boo canopy window, the sleek style of this twin stroller and the cutting edge colors, Red Tech, Charcoal and Terra Cotta. Most of all I absolutely adore the feature of the "Room-to-Walk" rear center wheel, as I have long legs and usually trip over whatever I am pushing! This innovative design allows me to walk with an energetic, healthy stride. When the walk is over it is so easy to lift back into the car and remarkably takes up very little room.

And I, Meg, am in love with Baby Planet's recycling program. Here's how it works: When your baby outgrows his/her Baby Planet stroller, Baby Planet will pay for you to ship it back. There are no restrictions as to the condition of the stroller; anything goes. Once back at the Baby Planet headquarters, your old unusable stroller gets a complete makeover; it is cleaned, repaired, spiffed up - the works! The like brand new stroller is then donated to a charity in need of children's products. Okay, you are thinking, there is absolutely no life left in my Baby Planet stroller; no problem they will still pay for you to ship it back. It is disassembled and the metal, fabric and plastic parts of your old stroller will be sent to a recycling center.

"At Baby Planet we are doing our part to save the world that surrounds your baby." How can you not love a company that produces the most innovative strollers especially for your baby while helping to make the environment a cleaner and safe place too? Baby Planet is designing for the future of our babies!
