I'm a planner. I thrive on the ability to pre- plan and to enjoy whatever it is I am planning for because I have plenty of time to enjoy it if I plan ahead! Take Christmas shopping. This task is almost complete because one- really, I shop all year long for the many people I love and love to shop for (let the spirit of giving last the whole year through!). And two- I found most of my holiday gifts at Aurora. They claim to be the "one stop solution," and I found that to be a fact!

This world- wide company has designed a user- friendly and informative web site that touches our softer sides. Each category invites you to shop for a variety of stuffed animals, gift sets, and puppets. I spent the most time shopping under the Aurora Baby section. A set of "Barnyard Friends" that looked so soft, so sweet, was appealing. I am most excited about their new product, "Nature Baby." Your choice of baby animals, ranging from wild giraffes and elephants to tame puppy- dogs and cats, is a multitude! I decided on a cuddly little lamb that is possibly the softest I have ever felt! 

Holiday gifts were also placed on my list (the Halloween witch- kitty was a favorite of mine) and I cannot wait to see the expression on my nieces' faces as they "AW" over their new best friend that I am giving them. Didn't we all feel that warmth and the unconditional love which came along with our favorite animals? Aurora Gifts offers huggable, lovable toys for children and for those adults who still long for that affection!  (Nothing wrong with that…)

I also enjoy some of the finger puppets when I use them in my classroom. Students get tired of listening to me teach them the sounds of the English language, so I now use the alligator puppet from time to time, and they love to watch his gigantic mouth move as I teach reading. They giggle as they to try to make him "read" and the fun is put back into reading. Yay!  The finger puppets that are attached to my alligator are also a perfect fit for little fingers.
