Spring has sprung and the end of the school year is in sight! We are already planning our summer programs and will be thinking ahead to next year's classes. This makes me wonder if any of you will be sending your children off to pre-school or to kindergarten. Isn't it amazing how time flies… maybe it is time to start to think and plan ahead for before you know it, your "baby" will be ready to learn how to read, to write, and to compute before your very eyes…
May I suggest a wonderful program for all the moms or caretakers of pre-school age children? Even if your child attends pre- school for a few sociable hours a week, there is another educational option for you to explore: an award winning preschool curriculum from True Learning.
Why continue to spend money on pricy tutoring centers or private pre-schools when you can easily provide opportunities for learning in the comforts of your own home while giving your little loved one your individualized attention and time? This two- disc CD includes a fun and educational at- home curriculum for your pre-school age child. Plus, there is no need to worry if your child will outgrow the activities. There are four levels of advancement for each of the six core subjects, which include "true math, true literacy, true motor skills, true art, true thinking, and true world."
The True Learning CD includes over 3,000 printable worksheets. This company believes that spending even just fifteen minutes a day engaging in these activities will help build a child's confidence and self esteem. They also have found that repetition and reinforcement is essential for early learning, yet each activity is designed to challenge your child so that boredom or loss of interest is avoided. Fifteen minutes a day spent watching your child be successful and happy…sounds good to me!
What I admired most is that The True Learning Company is, "Committed to improving the lives of children through education, True Learning donates 25% of profits, after taxes, to educational and charitable efforts directed towards children." I know I agree with the True Learning philosophy and approach to learning.
