When you were a little girl didn't you just love to dream you were a princess surrounded with pumpkin coaches, winged footmen, glass slippers and fancy glittering accessories? I went to sleep saying "bibbity, bobbity boo" knowing I would be transformed upon awaking! However, when I looked into the mirror to wash my face and brush my teeth - it was the same old AJ with the same curly hair, sans tiara, sans Prince Charming and sans magical shoes!

My mother sensed my longing for the rhinestone path and placated me with darling crafts. She taught me to sew and to knit and to draw and to dream.
